I painted this this weekend at Gary's parents cottage in upstate NY. And by upstate, I mean, we had to drive 8 hours each way to get there. It was beautiful though - right in the Adirondacks. Unfortunately, this painting got sprinkled with dirt particles on the 8 hour ride back...note to self: make a wet painting carrier....

Even with the dust speckles, its a great painting. It looks like an old film negative with the dust scratches. Probably not what you were aiming for, but still a pretty picture.
